Day Zero Project – A Mind Focusing Task Orientated Goals Website

dayzerologo2014_280w

So, this is a bit of an odd post – I don’t usually give into gimmicky and fad sites. However!

I have started a profile over on DayZeroProject.com – I even paid for a Plus Account.

The Day Zero Project is essentially a list of goals on a site that you can use for literally anything; but their most popular one is the one I am focusing on at the minute personally and that is: 101 things is 1001 days.

I have already started some of my list! 🙂

I will admit it is very hard to maintain (especially if you are me and you get scared even when the postman comes to the door with something nice. I hope I see it thorough to the end then I can say I have accomplished something.

I would highly recommend the site thoroughly to everyone and anyone.

Review – Nature’s Path Gluten Free Cereal – Tried and Tested

The Nature’s Store branded cereals were on offer in Tesco and for you lovely folks I bought one of each variety to try and then report back on – you know – for science!

There were 3 flavours available in the offer: Honey Puffed Rice, Tropical Fruit Muesli and Swiss Chocolate Muesli.

Overall – all 3 were passable and very edible. However, I must say that they did go soggy rather swiftly, but beyond that I am impressed.

Honey Puffed Rice – 6/10 – This was my least favourite of the 3 varieties I picked up. It is not as complex taste wise and is more of a base to build upon rather than actually being breakfast in it’s own right.

Tropical Fruit Muesli – 7.5/10 – Actual chunks of banana and papaya with some sultanas and tasty aswell! The only negative is there is no where near as much fruit as other muesli’s and as such is only a small fraction above the honey puffs (which can be found in this one too!)

WINNER Swiss Chocolate Muesli 10/10 – This cereal is EPIC! I love it so much – it is so light and tasty. Not overly sweet and the chocolate tastes divine. It is much darker chocolate than your average kids cereal but it is one I will be buying again – even when it is not on offer!

There you have it – Nature’s Store gluten free cereals reviewed.

Review – Pure Bred Bakery Gluten Free Multigrain Loaf

Before my coeliac diagnosis I was never a massive fan of bread loaves. It wasn’t my go to sandwich making weapon of choice – I’m more of a tortilla or pitta bread girl. “Proper bread” was never high on my list.

However, I was in Costco and it occurred to me that I should maybe try out some gluten free bread you know, for science!

I had some with my favourite spread which is mercifully gluten free – Nutella!

It was delicious. A little bit heavier than non gluten free bread and the slices are teeny tiny! But for a fast breakfast to run out the door with. Perfect!

Taste: 4/5
Texture: 4/5
Price: 5/5 (£4.50 for 2 loaves in Costco)
